Okay, how can you read the Legacy comics and not fall in love with Cade Skywalker? Seriously, how yummy is he? Wink

He is the perfect reaction to the NJO and Legacy books... angsty, fed up, and sexy in his way.

And yes, we all want to save that bad boy... among other things. Embarassed Wink

I want to have Cade's babies.

Embarassed Twisted Evil Mr. Green

Be back later with some thoughts and eye candy.

Okay, so, yeah – I actively avoided and dissed the Legacy series when it first came out and I heard that the “descendant of Anakin and Luke Skywalker” had forsaken his Jedi heritage to become a ruthless bounty hunter. What a loser, right?

We picked up a copy of Broken at C4 and I read it one night out of sheer boredom. And a fangurl was born! Very Happy Sure, he's a messed-up drug addict, but once I knew the whole story, I was hooked.

I fell in love with Cade Skywalker right here:

When he re-embraced his Jedi powers and called Marasiah’s lightsaber to his hand in battle. *swoon* (And, erm, that WAS the real reason… not because he looked so damn fine in those snug, black pants and sleeveless shirt. Cool )

I agree completely! He’s the anti-Skywalker, but also the perfect blend of the powers of his ancestors: Anakin Sr.’s angst, Luke’s determination, Mara’s wit and sarcasm, Ben’s loyalty to friends, and Kol’s stubbornness.

And I would very much like to “save” that bad boy. Yeah, that’s it – “save” him… Embarassed

That was an awesome scene Trace!

But I think I fell in love with him during the first appearance of Luke... and you learn why he is who he is... and how he tells Luke to go away or he will.

This is perfect!! And exactly how I feel about the NJO and Legacy atm. Why does Luke let the Force do all this crap to him and yet still remain on the side of Light???? What has the Force ever done for his family???

And there is the snug black trousers and sleeveless shirts... Twisted Evil

And yes... 'save' him... that is exactly what we'll do. Cool

Okay, okay...I usually don't go for the bad boys. I like 'em sweet and muscled like a certain farmboy we all know and love.

We picked up the Broken comic at B&N and I have to say, "WOWZA!" There just might be something to this bad boy attraction we women have after all! Wink

JayCee: Exactly! One of the things that I am really enjoying about the Legacy series is that the story creators aren't afraid to address controversial issues: things like the will of the Force vs. human will and the historical failures of the Jedi.

Another fall-in-love with Cade scene was after the fight with Master Sazen in # 12:

When he looked up with this incredible expression and asked: "You think so little of me, Master?"

*clutches chest*

Somewhere in there is a man who DOES care, in spite of himself.

Jade Pilot: Guuurl! Just wait until you read # 11 & 12! LOTS of back story and character development.

And hawtness.

Very Happy

My problem is finding comic books. My dinky little town is always three steps behind the rest of the world. *sigh* But I find Cade a very intriuging character. Wonder if they'll do any books on him?
